By downloading or using SnapInspect AI ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Subscription Terms

SnapInspect Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly subscription:

Price: $99.99 USD per month
Free trial: 14 days for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial
Auto-renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each monthly period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
Managing your subscription: Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SnapInspect AI. You can cancel any time
Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's refund policy

2. What the Subscription Unlocks

An active SnapInspect Pro subscription unlocks:

AI Polish on findings
AI-generated client and inspector summaries
Professional PDF report generation

Without an active subscription, you can still create inspections, take photos, and capture notes, but the AI and report-generation features are locked.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
Use the app to generate or distribute false, misleading, or fraudulent inspection reports
Abuse, overload, or attack our backend services

4. AI-Generated Content

The app uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate report language and summaries based on your notes. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before delivering inspection reports to clients. SnapInspect AI is a writing assistant — not a substitute for professional inspector judgment.

5. Professional Responsibility

SnapInspect AI is a documentation tool for licensed home inspectors. You are solely responsible for:

Conducting accurate, professional inspections in accordance with applicable standards and laws
The accuracy and completeness of any reports you generate or deliver
Compliance with all licensing, insurance, and regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction

6. Intellectual Property

The app, its code, design, and content are owned by Gregory Voetsch. You retain ownership of the inspection data, photos, and reports you create with the app.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SNAPINSPECT AI OR ITS DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above will reflect when changes were made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
